Indikace
Intended to be used for infusion of intravenous fluid, drugs, blood or blood products in peripheral venous bloodstream. They can also be used for blood sampling or to introduce other venous catheters.
Popis
Intraflon 2 is a short I.V. cannula available in size 24G, 22G, 20G, 18G, 16G, 14G, 13G and 12G.Intraflon 2 is made of a transparent (non radiopaque) PTFE cannula with winged hub and internal needle.
The distal end of the cannula is tapered to facilitate its penetration into the skin and vein and the proximal end comprises a female Luer-lock connector for connection to an infusion device. The hub of the puncture needle has a chamber for display of the blood reflux that occurs when the needle bevel penetrates into the vessel to be cannulated.
Colour code according to ISO norm 10555-5.
Intraflon 2 is available with a slightly longer cannula than code 121 (see technical file code 122).
