Indikace
PPS® Flow+ safety Huber needles are indicated for the administration or withdrawal of fluids through implantable ports.
PPS® Flow+ are designed to prevent blood-borne pathogen exposures caused by accidental needle punctures. PPS® Flow+ without Luer BD Q-Syte does not protect against other routes of blood-borne pathogen transmission.
Single hand removal of the safety Huber needle PPS® Flow+ automatically and simultaneously generates a positive pressure (saline injection) in the implantable port, thus limiting the risk of blood clot obstruction of the distal tip of the catheter.

PPS® Flow+ are curved safety Huber needles with extension line.PPS® Flow+ curved safety Huber needles are available:
- in various lengths and diameters
- with or without a lateral injection site (“Y” site)
PPS® Flow+ codes 71xxxx are with a Y site.
They are provided with:
- Luer-lock connectors on which are screwed
o an injection sites with a silicone septum on the “Y” connectors (for product codes with “Y”site )
- and clamps.
Tubing is DEHP (di-2 ethylhexyl-phthalate) free.
PPS® Flow+ are packaged in 12 unit-cartons.
