Indikace
Safety infusion device which can be used with any implantable port (Sitimplant, Mini-Sitimplant, Micro-Sitimplant, Heliosite and any other port...) allowing blood samplings, intermittent injections or continuous infusions of drugs or fluids.
When Perfusafe2 is removed from an implantable port, the needle is automatically directed onto a safety block offering total protection for health care workers.

Perfusafe2 is a safety infusion device with Huber bevel for implantable ports which can be used for intermittent injections, continuous infusions of drugs or solutions, blood sampling ...Perfusafe2 consists of:
- 1 needle with Huber bevel. Four lengthes of needle are available: 15mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm,
- 4 wings: 2 upper wings for gripping and holding the device during placement and removal. 2 lower wings to hold the implantable port in place when removing Perfusafe2 and activate the safety mechanism,
- 1 flexible extension tube in polyurethane, length 215mm - Int.-ext. Ø: 1.5x2.5mm
- 1 female Luer-lock hub
- 1 male Luer-lock cap
- 1 color-coded clamp according to the size of the needle
- 1 protection pad
Perfusafe2 prevents needle-stick injuries by rebound effect when withdrawing a Huber needle from an implantable port.
The needle is automatically directed into a safety block offering total protection for health care workers with no change in the handling technique for the operator.
Perfusafe2 can be used for high pressure injections of contrast medium (CT-scan) up to 350 psi.

Perfusafe2 codes 5249.116/.121/.126/.716/.721/.726/.916/.921/.926 have an Autoflush on the proximal hub of the device and no lateral injection site.
Perfusafe2 codes 5249.117/.122/.127/.132/.717/.722/.727/.732/.917/.922/.927/.932 have a Bionector on the proximal hub of the device and no lateral injection site.
Perfusafe2 codes 5250.115/.120/.125/.130/.715/.720/.725/.730/.915/.920/.925/.930 have a lateral injection site fitted with an Autoflush.
Perfusafe2 codes 5250.117/.122/.127/.132/.717/.722/.727/.732/.917/.922/.927/.932 have a lateral injection site fitted with a Bionector.
N.B. Latex-free product compatible with drugs containing lipids (such as Taxol)
